British car company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the 2023 Range Rover Velar SUV in India. The company will start its delivery from the month of September.
The Range Rover is available in Metallic Blue and Premium Metallic Jade Gray along with two leather options – Caraway and Deep Garnet. It has a choice of 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines.

2023 Range Rover Velar: Looks
Talking about the design 2023 Range Rover Velar is built on the company’s new Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) platform.
It gets muscular bonnet, wide grille and sleek LED headlights with ‘Range Rover’ branding. It also gets electric adjustable ORVMs and 23-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in the car.
At the rear, the roof-mounted spoiler, a window wiper and the split tailgate add to the muscular design is also available.
New Range Rover Velar will get 2 engine options
Range Rover’s new Velar has been launched in two powertrain options. First, it has been given a 2.0-liter mono turbocharged petrol engine, which is capable of generating 247hp power and 365Nm torque.
Second, it gets a 2.0-litre inline-six motor with a 48V mild-hybrid system, which is capable of generating 204hp power and 430Nm peak torque.
This vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds.
2023 Range Rover Velar has these features
The 2023 Range Rover Velar offers a spacious and comfortable 5-seater cabin. It gets an all-black dashboard, bespoke polyurethane-wool upholstery, multi-color ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
A Meridian sound system, a digital instrument cluster and a floating-type 11.4-inch curved PV Pro infotainment panel have also been added to the SUV.
It also gets features like multiple airbags and ADAS technology for the safety of the passengers.
2023 Range Rover Velar: Price and Availability
2023 Range Rover Velar has been launched in the Indian market at Rs 93 lakh ex-showroom. This is around Rs 3.59 lakh more than the current model. It is capable of competing with the BMW X5.
