World largest EV maker BYD has already entered in the Indian market, currently company is selling its two model BYD Atto 3 and BYD E6.
Now, BYD is working to launch its third electric car 2024 BYD Dolphin EV in India. In latest Development this car has been trademarked in the Indian market. This car will be equipped with the companyβs new logo. As per the reports the new Dolphin EV can be launched in India in July-August 2024.
Apart from the Dolphin BYD is also preparing to launch its BYD seagull and BYD Seal in the Indian Market.

2024 BYD Dolphin EV: Design
The design of the upcoming 2024 BYD Dolphin EV will be very much similar to the BYD Atto 3 available for the sale in the Indian Market. The Dolphin EV will be equipped with LED DRLs, muscular bonnet, hatchback design, LED tail-lamps and black-out B-pillars. It has a closed blacked grille with BYD badging. Apart from this the car also has a diamond cut alloy wheels, which increases the visual appealing of the car.
As per the dimension 2024 BYD Dolphin EV will be 4290 mm in length, 1770 mm in width, 1570 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2700 mm. This car has a bootspace of 345-litres which car be expanded to 1310-litres by folding the seats.
2024 BYD Dolphin EV: Range and Powertrain
Powering the BYD Dolphin there will be 44.9 kWh and 60.48 kWh battery options available. This car has a Front Wheel Drive layout which is capable of generating power between 94 bhp and 201 bhp. The 2024 BYD Dolphin EV will give range of 427 km in full charge and it can achieve speed of 100 kmph in just 7 seconds.

2024 BYD Dolphin EV has a 60:40 type split seats which 5-seater cabin. For entertainment purpose this car has a big 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system, which supports android auto and apple carplay connectivity.
There will be key card available for the keyless entry and start this car, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, leather seats, ventilated and powered seats and panoramic glass roof.
For safety the all new Dolphin EV is equipped with 360-degree camera, ABS, Hill assist, ADAS suite and more. Let us tell you that in Euro NCAP crash test this car has already scored 5-star safety rating.
2024 BYD Dolphin EV: Expected Price
The price of 2024 BYD Dolphin EV will be disclosed at the time of its launch in the Indian market. We are expecting that company will launch BYD Dolphin at starting price of Rs 18-20 lakh in India. This electric car will compete with the Tata Nexon EV in our country.
