Vietnam’s electric vehicle producer VinFast is preparing to commence operations in the Indian market in the near future. Alongside introducing electric cars, the company also plans to unveil electric scooters.
Recently, VinFast registered a design patent for the 2024 VinFast Klara S scooter in India. Founded in 2017, VinFast is recognized for its premium electric cars, while it also offers a range of electric scooters for the local market.
The price of a two-wheeler vehicle in Vietnam is equivalent to 1.18 lakh rupees, while it is expected to remain at 1.2 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) in India.

2024 VinFast Klara S: Expected Features
The 2024 VinFast Klara S will feature a hub motor and a 3.5kWh capacity lithium iron phosphate battery. It will be capable of covering a distance of 194 kilometers on a single charge. It will be available in 7 paint colors and 2 color schemes for your choice.
This setup enables it to run at a top speed of 78 kilometers per hour. The scooter weighs 122 kilograms, has a boot size of 23 liters, and a seat height of 760mm.
The VinFast Klara S is an attractive scooter with a modern look, featuring all-LED lighting and a spacious seat. Additionally, the two-wheeler will be equipped with 3G, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity, along with a feature for connectivity with smartphones.
From battery monitoring to GPS and ride history, the Clara app keeps the scooter rider connected and updated with the scooter’s location. The scooter will also feature front and rear disc brakes for braking convenience.
