2025 Tata Altroz CNG Spied Ahead of Launch, Top New Features Expected?

Tata Motors is currently developing an updated version of the Altroz, and the 2025 Tata Altroz CNG has been spotted during testing on Indian roads.

Apart from this company is also working on facelift version of this hatchback which will be similar to the CNG model only powertrain option will be different. Later company may introduce its racer variant soon at the end of the 2025.

According to reports, the company plans to launch this vehicle soon in the Indian market. This hatchback will feature several enhancements, and its interior may also receive significant updates.

2025 Tata Altroz CNG: Design

In terms of design, the upcoming Tata Altroz CNG hatchback will resemble the current generation closely, but we can expect some minor changes. This model will feature an all-LED lighting setup with DRLs, a blacked-out grille, and a new design for the alloy wheels.

The vehicle was heavily camouflaged during testing, so there isn’t much information available at this time. However, media reports suggest that the company may make slight modifications to the tail section of the car.

The current generation of the Tata Altroz CNG measures 3,990 mm in length, 1,755 mm in width, and 1,523 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,501 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 165 mm and around 210 liters of boot space, influenced by the placement of the CNG tank.

The upcoming Altroz is expected to maintain similar dimensions, but the company may increase the boot space by incorporating dual CNG cylinders into this hatchback.

2025 Tata Altroz CNG: Powertrain

Altroz CNG will be equipped with same 1.2-liter dual fuel engine. This engine generates maximum power of and a peak torque of Nm. For transmission this engine will be mated with 5-speed gearbox.

Talking about the powertrain option in the Altroz Facelift than this car will be equipped with an option of  a 1.2-litre petrol engine. This petrol engine generates maximum power of 88 PS and 115 Nm of torque.

Also, this car will be available with an option of 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. This engine generates maximum power of 90 PS and peak torque of 200 Nm. It is offered with only a 5-speed manual transmission.

2025 Tata Altroz Cabin

The Tata Altroz CNG’s cabin offers a premium and spacious feel, maintaining the same modern layout as its petrol counterpart. It features a dual-tone interior with a floating 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

The cabin remains roomy despite the addition of twin CNG cylinders under the boot floor, preserving rear seat legroom and comfort. Rear AC vents, a cooled glovebox, and fabric upholstery enhance passenger convenience. Safety is well-covered with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors, making it a well-rounded cabin for both city and highway use.

The Tata Altroz CNG offers essential safety features including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a strong body structure, ensuring a safe and secure drive for all occupants.

Price and Availability

The Price and availability of the 2025 Tata Altroz CNG will be announced at the time of its launch. We are expecting that company will launch facelifted Altroz CNG between ₹7.00 lakh and ₹11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This hatchback car will compete with Maruti Suzuki Baleno in Indian market.
