Citroen C3 Aircross launched in India, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh

Car company Citroen has launched its compact SUV Citroen C3 Aircross in the Indian market. It is an updated version of the Citroen C3 SUV available in the country. It will be available in a 7-seater and 5-seater variants.

The company has brought this vehicle with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, with the help of which the C3 Aircross will be able to cover a distance of 18.5 kilometers in one liter of petrol.

How is the look of Citroen C3 Aircross?

The design of the new Citroen C3 Aircross is very much similar to its existing model. It features a muscular clamshell bonnet, bumper-mounted headlights with split-type DRLs, a sleek grille with Citroen badging, a wide air dam and fog lights with chrome surrounds.

This vehicle has been launched with roof rails, indicator-mounted ORVMs and 15-inch alloy wheels. Also, at the rear, it has wrap-around tail lights and a window wiper.

Citroen C3 Aircross is available in 2 engine options

Citroen C3 Aircross has a choice of 2 engines. Firstly, it has a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated PureTech 82 petrol engine, which generates power of 81bhp and torque of 115Nm.

Secondly, it has the option of 1.2 liter turbocharged PureTech 110 petrol engine, which is capable of generating 109bhp power and 190Nm torque.

Both these engines are with manual gearbox. PureTech 82 has a 5-speed gearbox and PureTech 110 has a 6-speed gearbox.

The C3 has a large 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

It has facilities like air conditioning, digital instrument console etc. It will be launched in 5-seater and 7-seater variants.

There is good space in the cabin of C3 Aircross, especially the rear passengers have been given large legroom to feel comfortable. It comes with interior color themes like all-black and dual-tone (black and orange).

The new Citroen C3 Aircross has been launched in the Indian market at Rs 9.99 lakh. The price of its top model is Rs 11.99 lakh. This vehicle will compete with Hyundai Creta and Tata Nexon.
