Maruti Suzuki eVX Based Toyota Urban Electric Concept SUV revealed

Japan’s leading automobile manufacturer Toyota has unveiled the concept model of its new electric crossover Toyota Urban SUV. It is a rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki eVX.

Toyota Urban will be a B-segment SUV, which will be launched first in Europe. Later it will be launched in other markets including India. This vehicle will give a range of about 400 kilometers in a single charge.

New Toyota Urban SUV has got a boxy look

In terms of looks, the new Toyota Urban SUV is very similar to the Maruti Suzuki eVX. It has got a boxy look, which includes features like closed grille, LED headlamps with new DRLs, raked windscreen, bump-equipped ORVMs, flared wheel arches, mixed metal wheels and a charging socket on the left fender.

The length of this vehicle is 4300mm, width is 1820mm and height is 1620mm. It also gets a roof-mounted spoiler at the rear and connected LED taillights.

Toyota Urban SUV: Powertrain

No official information about the powertrain of the latest car Toyota Urban SUV has been revealed. However, it is being speculated that this vehicle will get a dual-motor setup, which can be paired with a larger 60kWh battery pack.

This EV will be able to cover a distance of up to 400 kilometers on a single charge. Apart from this, it will also have fast charging technology, with the help of which this vehicle will be fully charged in just a few minutes.

Toyota Urban SUV: Cabin

Toyota Urban SUV has got a futuristic cabin. For entertainment, it will have the facility of dual infotainment screen. It will feature a dual tone cabin, automatic climate control, a head-up display, ambient lighting, a multi-functional steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, it can also be provided with features like multiple airbags, anti-lock braking system ABS, hill assist control and ADAS technology.

Toyota Urban SUV: Expected Price

The price and availability of the upcoming Toyota Urban SUV will be known at the time of its launch. It is estimated that the price of this vehicle could be around Rs 20 lakh.
