Leading electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla is all set to enter India. Now you will also be able to buy cheap Tesla cars in the country.Β can start its business in India from January next year.
The company may announce its entry in India during the Vibrant Gujarat Summit to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat in January 2024. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is also likely to be present during this period. Negotiations for land allotment in Gujarat for the factory are also in the final stages.
If this happens then it will help India to became an electric hub towards electric vehicles. Tesla has been planning to enter the country for a long time, but due to lack of any tax exemption from the government, the company is postponing its launch.
However, now the company is ready to set up a manufacturing plant in India and will also launch the cheapest car.

What is the plan of tesla?
Reports suggest that Tesla is expected to sign an MoU at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
The EV maker had earlier said that it intends to set up a battery factory in India apart from electric cars and may finalize the location for the same by the end of this year.
Apart from Gujarat, several states including Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana are in the race to invite Tesla for investment.
Gujarat can become a good center for exports for Tesla
According to reports, Tesla is likely to set up its factory in Sanand, Gujarat. In fact, Gujarat could be the best center for Tesla to export its electric cars to other countries.
However, Tesla has not finalized Sanand for the plant. The state government had offered land at places like Becharaji and Dholera.
Let us tell you, Tata Motors and Suzuki also have car manufacturing plants in Sanand.
