India’s leading car company Tata Motors has recently launched the new electric car Punch EV in Indian Market and the company has many electric models in its pipeline for this year. As per the information company is working on new electric SUV Tata Harrier EV which is going to launch in upcoming months in India.
In the recent timeline the design patent of Tata Harrier EV has been leaked ahead of its launch. In design many parts of it look similar to the recently launched Tata Harrier facelift, but many changes has been seen in it. The electric version of Harrier can be launched in the market later this year.
Lets know about the expected features of this upcoming electric SUV.
Tata Harrier EV: What we expect?
Tata Harrier EV will get a sleek and modern triangular headlight structure, which is different from the traditional headlight. It also has a slim LED DRLs on the top of its bonnet.
Apart from this electric car will be equipped with a closed grille with horizontal slats and a lower grille with several vertical slats below it. This setup is given to cool the advanced battery system of the electric SUV.
The cabin of this car will feature HVAC controls, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround view camera and dual-zone climate control.
Electric Harrier will be based on the Advanced Generation-II EV platform of Tata in which a battery pack ranging from 60kWh to 80kWh can be added.Β As per the information this electric SUV will provide a range of around 500 kilometers on a single charge.
In terms of safety, the vehicle will also get an Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS). The starting price of the Harrier EV is expected to be around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from this Tata will also launch Curve EV and Safari EV.
