The car manufacturer MG Motors has reduced the price of its MG Hector SUV. Now, its base variant is cheaper by 96,000 rupees. Apart from this the price of the diesel variant of the Hector Plus Sharp Pro 7-seater has been reduced by 21,000 rupees.
Along with this, the company has introduced Shine Pro and Select Pro variants instead of the ‘Shine’ and ‘Smart’ mid-trim variants of the MG Hector. Besides, a new Select Pro variant has been introduced in place of the Smart variant of Hector Plus.

Features of MG Hector
The MG Hector offers 3 engine options – a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, a 1.5-liter petrol-hybrid engine, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine.
The starting price of the Hector is now 13.99 lakh rupees, while the prices of the new Shine Pro and Select Pro variants are respectively 16 lakh rupees and 17.30 lakh rupees.
Additionally, the price of the new Style variant of the Hector Plus is 17 lakh rupees (all prices, ex-showroom). It competes with Tata Harrier, Mahindra Scorpio-N, and Mahindra XUV700.
In the Shine Pro variant of the MG Hector, you get 17-inch alloy wheels, a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
Additionally, it includes a single-pane sunroof, push-button start, a 6-speaker sound system, projector LED headlights, LED turn indicators, front and rear fog lights, and cruise control.
In the Select Pro trim, you’ll find 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, interior LED reading lights, connected car technology, and an 8-speaker sound system.
