Luxury car manufacturer BMW’s to launch its most affordable electric car BMW iX1, It will be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year.
This is the electric version of the company’s most popular and smallest SUV X1. After its arrival, the company’s luxury electric car portfolio will become stronger.
Till now the company sells i4 sedan, iX SUV and i7 limousine in the country and on the basis of these it has achieved more than 50 percent share in the market.

BMW iX1: looks
The design and look of the BMW iX1 will be similar to its ICE model, but the front grille and exhaust will be new and changes will also be seen in the interior.
The cabin of the latest car will have a curved display for instrumentation and infotainment and the size of the infotainment screen will be 10.7-inch and the driver display will be 10.25-inch.
A 12-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system may also be offered in it. There is every possibility of getting Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) for safety.
BMW iX1: Features
BMW iX1 xDrive 30 will get a dual-motor setup, which produces 313hp power and 495Nm torque.
It will also have the facility of all-wheel drive (AWD), which will allow it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
It will have a battery pack of 66.5kWh capacity, which will be capable of giving a range of 440 kilometers in a single charge.
The upcoming new iX1 is likely to be priced between Rs 60 to Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom).
