BMW Motorrad is all set to launch its new 2024 BMW R 1300 GS in the Indian market soon. In the recent development company has released the official teaser of this upcoming adventure bike.

The teaser image shows the bike’s fuel tank and mud-splattered panels. According to media reports the 2024 BMW R 1300 GS might launch in June 2024 in the Indian Market.

Company has already started accepting booking for this bike since April 2024. It will be the company’s most powerful bike in the country.

Design

If we talk about the design of the BMW R 1300 GS was unveiled globally in September last year. It stands out from the previous GS models in terms of appearance. This latest bike features slanted LED DRLs with a central projector LED, sleek lines, and a transparent visor in between.

In the dual-purpose vehicle, there will be collision warning with LED lighting, blind-spot monitoring, a digital console with GPS, ride modes, traction control, and other features.

Powertrain

The upcoming BMW R 1300 GS will be equipped with 1300cc boxer twin engine, which generates 143bhp of power and 143Nm of torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox and will also offer the option of a quick shifter.

For suspension upcoming BMW R 1300 GS will have USD front forks, a front tele lever, and a rear Paral ever setup, while braking will be supported by dual-channel ABS with dual discs in the front and a single disc in the rear. This suspension gives bike very comfortable rides.

Price

The expected price and availability of 2024 BMW R 1300 GS will be announced at the time of its launch in June 2024. We are expecting that company will launch this bike at starting price of Rs 21 lakhs ex-showroom. It will compete with the Triumph Tiger 1300 in the Indian Market.
