BYD SEAL to be launch on March 5 in India, Know its features

World’s largest electric car maker company BYD is currently working to introduce its new electric car BYD SEAL in Indian market. As per the reports company is planning to launch this electric car on 5th March in India.

It will be the most powerful offering of the BYD in the Indian Market, which will give range of 570 kilometre in single charge. Currently BYD sales two model BYD Atto 3 and BYD E6.

Apart from the BYD Seal Chinese company is also preparing to launch its BYD seagull and BYD DOLPHIN in the Indian Market.

BYD SEAL: Design

BYD SEAL is design on a e-Platform 3.0 which is design for the next generation of pure electric cars.

Upcoming BYD Seal EV gets large LED headlights and distinctive C-shaped DRLs at the front. It has a low-slung profile and stylish 5-split spoke alloy wheels which gives attractive look to the car. At the rear end the SEAL EV has a connected LED taillights with fish scale pattern.

Apart from this SEAL EV will be very much similar to the BYD Atto 3 available for the sale in the Indian Market. This car is 4800 mm long, 1875 mm wide and 1460 mm high. Also, It has a curb weight of 1885 to 2150 kg.

Powertrain

The BYD SEAL available in the global market has a 82.5 kWh battery pack and it is available in AWD and RWD configuration. This electric car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 second.

As per the information the India’s specs BYD SEAL will also use same powertrain.

This car is capable of giving range of 700 plus km in full charge. Also, there will be option of DC fast charging and AC charging in it.

Cabin

2024 BYD SEAL has a 5-seater cabin. For entertainment purpose this car has a big 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system, which supports android auto and apple carplay connectivity.

For safety the this EV is equipped with 360-degree camera, ABS, Hill assist, ADAS suite and more.

There will be key card available for the keyless entry and start this car, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, leather seats, ventilated and powered seats and panoramic glass roof.

BYD SEAL: Expected Price

The price and availability of 2024 BYD SEAL EV will be disclosed at the time of its launch in the Indian market on 5th March 2024.

We are expecting that company will launch BYD SEAL EV at starting price of Rs 40-50 lakh in India. This electric car will compete with the KIA EV6 in our country.
