Chinese electric vehicle company BYD is all set to launch its all new BYD Sealion 7 in India on February 17. The premium electric SUV will be offered in two variants – Premium and Performance, both of which come with very much similar features.

What are the expected features of the BYD Sealion 7?
If we talk about the design than the upcoming Sealion 7 looks inspired by the BYD Seal. This car has been equipped with the closed grille, LED headlights along with sharp cuts on the bumper give it an aggressive look.
It also has dual-tone alloy wheels and red brake calipers at the rear, sloping roof at the rear give it an SUV-coupe look. It has electronically opening flush door handles. Apart from this, the car features a roof-mounted spoiler with a second lip-mounted spoiler, wrap-around connected tail lamps and a thick bumper at the rear.
It also gets a panoramic sunroof, 8-way powered driver seat and dual-zone auto AC with rear vents. Passenger safety includes 11 airbags, 360-degree camera and ADAS features.
The BYD Sealion 7 features a heated 4-spoke steering wheel with audio and ADAS controls, a wireless charger and a drive mode selector with 2 cup holders. The cabin gets ventilated front seats, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
Power train
The electric car is equipped with a 82.56kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 567 kilometers on a single charge with rear-wheel drive (RWD) in the Premium variant.
The Performance variant offers a range of 542 km with an all-wheel drive (AWD) setup. This setup enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.
Expected Price
The expected price of this electric car will be announced at the time of its launch. We are expecting that company will launch this car at the starting price of Rs 45 lakh ex-showroom.
