Chinese carmaker Citroen is preparing to expand its portfolio in India with its new Citroen C3X crossover sedan. This vehicle was recently spotted during testing, which shows a notchback body-style.
Its test model seems to be ready for production. We are expecting that the CitroΓ«n C3X is going to be launched in India soon. The vehicle will be positioned below the Citroen C5 Aircross and will compete with the upcoming Tata Curvv.

Citroen C3X: Expected Features
The upcoming Citroen C3X will be built on the companyβs famous modular CMP platform, featuring triangular headlamps, sleek LED DRLs, an interconnecting chrome strip with the Citroen logo.
Apart from this, the car will have a strong bumper, hexagonal foglamp housing, thick body cladding along the side profile, blacked-out ORVMs with integrated turn signals and a blacked-out B-pillar and roof for a sporty look. But for now information has been revealed yet about the cabin of the vehicle.
Citroen C3X: Powertrain and Expected price
The Citroen C3X will get the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine as the C3 Aircross, which produces 110ps of power and 190Nm of torque. There will be option of manual and automatic for transmission. In terms of safety, 6 airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, ABS, tire pressure monitoring system and reverse parking sensor with a camera will be available.
The vehicle is not likely to feature a 360-degree camera and ADAS. Also, we are expecting that the starting price of Citroen C3x could be Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
