Gogoro crossover electric scooter: Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Gogoro is going to launch its first Gogoro crossover electric scooter in India on December 12. The delivery of this scooter will start in 2024.
The company has unveiled this scooter back in October. It is said to be the largest Gogoro scooter in size, with a wheelbase of more than 1,400mm.
Due to its size, the company has named this electric scooter ‘two-wheeler SUV’ and its production has also started in Maharashtra. Lets us know about the expected features of this scooter.
Gogoro crossover electric scooter: Expected features
The Gogoro crossover electric scooter is built on a steel tubular frame, which gets a large LED headlight with an apron.
For suspension, telescopic fork has been provided in the front and twin shocks unit in the rear. The two-wheeler features 12-inch wheels and disc brakes at both ends. It gets split seats, whose pillion seat will act as a backrest when folded, while the rear seat is removable.
Gogoro crossover electric scooter: Range and Price
A compact compartment under the scooter’s rider seat houses two swappable battery packs, with a combined capacity of around 1.6kWh. A distance of about 100 kilometers can be covered with this setup. It is expected to have a power output of less than 3kW and a top speed of 60-65 km/h.
Gogoro has already set up some battery-swapping stations in the Delhi-NCR region. Its price can be kept around Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
