Honda City Hatchback with ADAS launched, Whats new?

Car maker Honda has finally launched its all new Honda City hatchback facelift in Thailand. It has a new look and a ADAS tech to provide better safety to the passengers.

Let us tell you that most of the features of the City hatchback is similar to the City sedan facelift launched last year in India. It has been launched in 5 variants – base-spec S+, SV, RS, e:HEV SV and e:HEV RS.

These are Ignite Red Metallic, Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic with Black Roof, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Sonic Gray Pearl, Taffeta White and Platinum White Pearl.

Its starting price in Thailand is 5,99,000 Baht (about Rs 13.85 lakh) and in India it can be launched at a price around Rs 12 lakh.

Honda City Hatchback: Design

The all new Honda City hatchback comes with features like multi-angle reverse camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay supports, Honda Connect telematics, electronic parking brake, 7-inch digital instrument cluster and rain sensing wipers.
This car is equipped with a 1.0-litre, inline-three VTEC turbo petrol engine (122 PS/173 Nm) and a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine (98 ps/127 Nm).

The facelift variant of Honda City Hatchback has a thin chrome strip at the front and a new mesh insert for the grille.
The RS variant now gets a more aggressive bumper and a new diffuser-like element at the rear. In comparison, other variants get a blacked-out lower apron.

The interior of the latest car is largely the same as before. As a change, now 2 USB-C charging ports, smartphone inner pocket and ADAS facilities have been provided.
