Jeep Compass EV in work, what we are expecting from this electric SUV?

Automobile manufacturer company Jeep is planning to update its Jeep Compass SUV with electric powertrain. The company is currently working on the Jeep Compass EV and soon starts testing the new vehicle.

According to the information, this vehicle will be introduced next year, while its launch will take place in 2026. Changes can be made in the exterior and interior of Jeep Compass EV.

It will be capable of giving a range of 500 kilometers on full charge. Information about the price and availability of this electric car will be given only at the time of its launch. However, it is estimated that its price could be around Rs 25 lakh.

Jeep Compass EV: Design and Cabin

Talking about the design, the upcoming SUV Jeep Compass EV will get black finish on the roof, front grille, fog lamp surround, skid plates and boot-lid, while it will be provided with closed grille and LED headlights with DRLs.

Apart from this, roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs and designer 18-inch alloy wheels will also be available on the sides of the car. Wrap-around LED taillights, shark-fin antenna and a window wiper will be available at the rear of the vehicle, which make its look even more attractive.

The new Jeep Compass Electric can be given a ventilated driver seat, connected car tech, powered tailgate, wireless charging, 10.25-inch digital driver display with 10.1-inch touchscreen console. This infotainment unit of the car supports features like voice command, navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and connected car technology.

The vehicle will also have features like auto climate control, auto AC, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill assist, ADAS technology and panic brake assist.

Jeep Compass EV: Powertrain

The company is also making a special STLA platform for this electric car. There is no official information about the powertrain of this vehicle, but it is estimated that the company can provide a 98 kWh battery pack in it.

It is also expected to have dual electric motor setup. This vehicle will give a range of 500 kilometers per charge and will be charged up to 80 percent in 27 minutes.
