Kawasaki Ninja 500 vs Honda CBR650R: Japan’s leading bike manufacturer Kawasaki has unveiled its super sports bike Kawasaki Ninja 500 at the EICMA 2023 held in Italy. This bike has a 451cc parallel twin engine.

In the country, this bike is being seen as a rival to Honda CBR650R. If you are also planning to buy one of these bikes, then understand which bike is better by comparing the bikes.

The Kawasaki Ninja 500 features a muscular fuel tank, step-up split-style seats, an upswept exhaust system, a transparent windscreen and arrowhead-shaped side mirrors. It also gets a TFT instrument console, an all-LED setup for lighting and designer blacked-out alloy wheels.

The Honda CBR650R features a sleek fuel tank, a round LED headlight with integrated DRL, a wide handlebar, arrow-head mirrors, an under-belly exhaust system and a slim LED taillamp. Both bikes have 17 inch alloy wheels.

The new Kawasaki Ninja 500 may get a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which will be capable of generating 45bhp power and 42Nm peak torque. For transmission, it will get a 6-speed gearbox.

Honda CBR650R gets a 648.72cc liquid-cooled, 16-valve, inline-four engine, which generates 86hp power and 57.5Nm peak torque. Let us tell you that this bike also has a 6-speed gearbox for transmission.

For rider safety and to provide excellent road handling, both the bikes come with cornering anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control, ride-by-wire throttle and disc brakes on both front and rear wheels with riding modes.

To make the suspension comfortable, it has been provided with Showa inverted forks at the front and adjustable mono-shock units at the rear.

Kawasaki Ninja 500 vs Honda CBR650R: Expected Price

The price and availability of the new Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Honda CBR650R in India will be known at the time of their launch.

However, it is estimated that their price could be around Rs 6 lakh and Rs 8.67 lakh respectively. Both of these are the best BS in the sports segment, but our vote goes in favor of Honda CB650R due to its attractive looks and slightly lower price.
