Kawasaki is working on a budget adventure bike Kawasaki Versys X300 for the Indian market which will compete with the KTM Adventure 390 and Royal Enfield Himalayan in India.
Now in latest development Versys X300 has been spotted testing for the first time on the Indian road. Form the test mule we have got some updates regarding the design of this bike. This bike will be equipped with 296 cc engine.
Kawasaki Versys X300 is already on a sale in the global market. Now company is going to launch this bike in India as its budget adventure bike to boost its sales in India.

Design
The Design of the Kawasaki Versys X300 is very much similar to the model available on the sale in the other country. This bike has spoke wheels along with the tube tyres.
It has all LED lighting setup and a windscreen at the front to prevent from the heavy wind blast on high speed.
Engine
The Indian specs Kawasaki Versys will be equipped with same 296 cc parallel-twin cylinder engine which is also available in the Ninja 300.
This engine generates max power of 39 bhp and peak torque of 26.1 Nm. For transmission this engine will be linked with six-speed gearbox.
Features
For riders safety this bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS with side stand cut off sensor. For Suspension this bike has a telescopic front forks and monoshock rear unit. Braking is handle by the front and rear disc brakes.
Price
In US Kawasaki Versys X300 cost is around USD 6,199 (approx 5.14 lakh). We are expecting that company will launch this bike in India at around Rs 4.5 to 5.5 lakh ex-showroom.
