Car company KIA Motors is currently working on electric version of the KIA Carens. Recently the Kia Carens EV has been spotted during testing on the Indian roads. As per the information Kia will introduced this electric MPV next year in India.

The spotted model has been seen with huge camouflaged and hence not more information about the design has been revealed but we can see this model without exhaust setup and that why we are expecting that this model could be the electric version of the car.

Features of Kia Carens EV

As per the leaked information the Kia Carens EV will come with revised suspension setup at the rear. This car will come with all LED lighting setup with day time running lights. We are expecting that some design feature of the car will be similar to the Kia EV9.

Kia Carens EV will be equipped with 45kWh battery pack with powerful electric motor. This car will give range of 500 km in full charge. There will be option of DC fast charging technology, with the help of this charger the car will be charge 10 to 80 percent in just 30 to 40 minutes.

The cabin of the car will be very much similar to the current generation KIA Carens. There will be 7-seater seating arrangement in this car. For entertainment this car will be equipped with 10-inch infotainment system which will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Price

The price and availability of Kia Carens EV will be announced at the time of its launch. We are expecting that company will launch this car at starting price of Rs 20 lakh ex-showroom.
