Indiaβs biggest car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki has introduced its Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNGΒ in the country. This car will be available in two trims- Sigma and Delta. The company is claiming a fuel efficiency figure for Fronx CNG is around 28.51 km/kg.
In Indian market it will be competing against the recently launched Hyundai Exter CNG and upcoming Tata Punch CNG.

The look is similar to standard Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The CNG variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is almost similar to the standard model of the Fronx. It gets a muscular clamshell bonnet, bumper-mounted tri-beam LED headlights, split-type DRLs, a blacked-out grille and silver skid plates.
On the sides, the SUV gets ORVMs, roof rails, wheel arches with black cladding and dual-tone alloy wheels.
The Fronx CNG is available in the country in 2 variants β Sigma and Delta. The company will sell it through Nexa dealership.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG: Engine
Maruti Suzuki Fronx is powered by a 1.2-litre CNG petrol engine, which generates 77.5PS power and 98.5Nm peak torque.
Taking care of the transmission, the engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual and a new AGS gearbox.
In one kg of CNG, this vehicle is capable of covering a distance of about 28.5 km. Maruti Fronx also gets the option of a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine.
The car has 5-seater cabin
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG has a dual-tone 5-seater cabin with a flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters.
It also has sports type seats, which gives a premium look to its cabin. The car is also equipped with the latest safety features such as six airbags, ABS and EBD.
It also has a Suzukiβs Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) which provide additional safety to the passengers during an accident.

Additional Features of Fronx S-CNG
Maruti Suzuki Fronx is equipped with latest technology. It gets a head-up display, which provides the driver with information like navigation, fuel and speed.
It also gets a 360-degree-view camera, touchscreen infotainment panel and surround sound system to make parking easier.
The CNG car also gets over 40 connected car technologies such as vehicle tracking, tow away alerts and remote access features via Amazon Alexa.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG: Price
Maruti Suzuki Fronx price in India starts from Rs.7.46 Lakh onwards. At the same time, the price of its Sigma CNG model is Rs 8.41 lakh and Delta model has been launched at Rs 9.27 lakh (all prices ex-showroom) in India.
