Maruti Suzuki is expanding its lineup in the Indian market. According to media reports, the company will soon introduce the all-new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-seater. Currently, the company is testing this SUV, which is expected to be launched in mid-2025.

It is expected to feature a new front design, including a redesigned grille and LED headlamps. Additional exterior changes may involve new alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. Most of the features will be quite similar to the current generation model.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater: Powertrain
Like the current generation model, the new Grand Vitara will offer two engine options. The first will be a 1.5-liter K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 103.06 hp and peak torque of 136.8 Nm.
The second option will be a 1.5-liter strong-hybrid petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 115.56 hp and peak torque of 141 Nm. Both engines will be available with an automatic and manual gearbox option.
The performance and mileage of the 7-seater are currently unknown, but it is anticipated that its performance will be slightly less than that of the 5-seater model. With Maruti’s focus on efficiency, the Grand Vitara 7-seater is likely to deliver a good balance of power and fuel economy, making it suitable for both city drives and long journeys.

Reports suggest that the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-seater will come equipped with features such as automatic climate control, ventilated seats, steering-mounted controls, and a large sunroof.
The vehicle will likely offer a semi-digital driver display and a fully digital information system, with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. We also anticipate a Head-Up Display in the upcoming model.
Additionally, the vehicle may include features like auto-dimming interior rearview mirrors (IRVMs) and captain seats in the second row. In terms of safety, advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) technology may also be offered, along with features like ABS, airbags, and hill assist.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater: Price and Availability
The price and availability of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-seater will be announced at the time of its launch.
Reports suggest that the company may launch this car at a starting price of Rs 12 to 13 lakh (ex-showroom). This vehicle will compete with the Mahindra Scorpio and Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market.
