The Ignis hatchback car of the country’s leading automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is being liked a lot. It has sold 2 lakh units in the country. It is the cheapest one from the company available at Nexa dealerships. It was launched in 2017.
In February this year, the company has also updated this vehicle and an engine with BS6 Phase-II standards has been added to it.

How many units sold each time?
Maruti launched this hatchback car in January 2017. It sold 50,000 in just 11 months. By May 2019, its 1 lakh units were bought in the country.
In November 2021, this vehicle achieved the sales figure of 1.5 lakh units. Whereas in May 2023, it sold 2 lakh units. It is a budget segment car and it sells an average of 3,000 to 4,000 units every month.
