Maruti Suzuki Jimny Become Cheaper in India in February 2024, Know its New Price

Maruti Suzuki has cut the price of its off-road SUV Maruti Suzuki Jimny in February 2024. The price of select variants of Maruti Jimny – Zeta AT, Alpha AT and Alpha AT Dual-Tone has been reduced by Rs 10,000.

There has been no change in the prices of other variants. According to sources, the company has taken this step due to lack of sales. To increase sales, an affordable Thunder Edition of Jimny was launched in December 2023, which was discontinued last month.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Features

Maruti Suzuki Jimny comes in a boxy look, which has a large grille, muscular bonnet and round headlights with fog lamps. It is also equipped with blacked out B-pillars, ORVMs and alloy wheels.

Talking about the features, it has features like 7.0-inch infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto climate control and cruise control. For the safety of passengers, facilities like 6 airbags, ABS and ESP are also available.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny has a 1.5 liter, 4-cylinder, K15B petrol engine, which is capable of generating power of 101 bhp at 6,000 rpm and torque of 130 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

For transmission, it has the option of 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox. Its length is 3850 mm, width is 1645 mm and height is 1730 mm. Also, its wheelbase is 2550 mm and ground clearance is 210 mm. Its starting price in the Indian market is Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
