The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be launched with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, which is capable of generating 194.4hp power and 320Nm peak torque. It may also have the option of 2.0-litre diesel engine (191.7hp/400Nm).

Information about the price and availability of the new generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be given at the time of its launch. It is estimated that the price of this sedan could be around Rs 1.5 crore. On the other hand, the new BMW 740d Sports has been launched in the country for Rs 1.81 crore.

Even though the price of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be slightly lower, our vote goes to the BMW 740d due to its better looks and powerful engine.
