Car Company MG Motors on Wednesday launched its Blackstorm Edition of the MG Astor Blackstorm SUV available in the Indian market.
The exterior and interior of this special edition model gets an all-black theme, which is very much similar to the Blackstorm edition of MG Gloster available in the country.
The only difference between the standard MG Astor and the new edition is some cosmetic change. Apart from this, the powertrain and other features this car is similar to its standard model.

MG Astor Blackstorm: Looks
The exteriors of the all new MG Astor Blackstorm Edition gets Starry Black color finishing with chrome garnishing at various places, which makes its very attractive in looks.
The new Astor alos gets the Black Edition badge, which makes it different from the standard model of the Astor. The cabin of the car gets Tuxedo Black upholstery with deep red stitching, Sangria Red-themed AC vents, an all-black floor console, red stitching on the steering wheel and door trims, and 8 new JBL speakers.
MG Astor Blackstorm SUV: Powertrain
The powertrain of the all new Astor Blackstorm Edition remains the same as its standard model. The car has been launched with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which generates 108hp power and 144Nm peak torque.
For transmission, it gets the option of 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox. The top Speed of this car is around 160 km/h and it gives mileage of around 14-15 km/l.
Price of this Car
In India the prices of new MG Astor Blackstorm SUV start from Rs 14.47 lakhs and go upto Rs 15.76 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The company has launched the new edition as part of its strategy to increase sales from the festive season.
