New Honda WR-V: Japan’s leading automobile manufacturer Honda is planning to bring one of its new SUVs in the country every year. The company had launched its new Honda Elevate this year in comparison to Seltos.

Now the company can launch its WR-V in a new avatar to compete with Tata Nexon. The company is going to bring this car with a new hybrid engine.

New Honda WR-V: looks

Talking about design, the upcoming Honda WR-V will be shorter than 4-metres and will have a boxy look with 18-inch alloy wheels.

The car will get a newly designed grille with new LED headlamps, attractive front bumper, a muscular bonnet, designer air dam and updated roof rails.

At its rear, roof mounted spoiler, faux skid plate and boomerang shaped LED taillights can be provided, which will provide a great look to the car.

New Honda WR-V: Engine

The new Honda WR-V uses a 1.2 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine generates power of 88bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of 145Nm at 1700rpm. The company can also offer hybrid technology in it.

To simplify the transmission, it will be brought with a standard CVT automatic gearbox. It will be able to cover a distance of about 12-14 kilometers in one liter of petrol.

New Honda WR-V: Features

The upcoming SUV Honda WR-V is expected to get a larger cabin, which is likely to get ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVMs, ambient lighting, leather upholstery and a multifunctional steering wheel.

The cabin of the car may also feature a 9.0-inch instrument console, 8-speaker Bose sound system and an infotainment display supporting the latest connectivity options.

For the safety of passengers, the vehicle may be provided with multiple airbags, 360-degree-view camera and parking sensors.

New Honda WR-V: Expected Price

We will have to wait a little longer for the prices of the upcoming Honda WR-V. It is estimated that the price of this vehicle can start from around Rs 8 lakh. It is expected to be launched next year.
