Renault 5 EV: Features

The design of the Renault 5 EV’s production model has undergone some changes compared to the concept. The front lighting signature has been redesigned.

Traditional blocks are now used in the car’s headlight projector instead of LEDs. A charging indicator has been integrated into the offset hump on the car’s bonnet.

Inside the latest car, there will be a 10.0-inch instrument cluster and infotainment screen, while the dashboard is inspired by rally cars.

The Renault 5 will feature two battery packs, consisting of nickel-manganese-cobalt batteries with capacities of 40kWh and 52kWh. Each battery pack will offer ranges of approximately 300 kilometers and 400 kilometers on a single charge, respectively.

The vehicle will be available with three motor output options, capable of achieving 0-100 kilometers per hour in under 8.0 seconds. Cars equipped with the 40kWh battery will have an 80kW DC fast-charging capability, while those with the 52kWh battery will boast a charging capacity of 100kW.
