Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has a 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is capable of delivering 40bhp power. For transmission, this powertrain is paired with 6 speed transmission.

The new KTM 390 Adventure and the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 come with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Similarly, dual-channel anti braking system (ABS) and riding modes are also provided in both the bikes.
Keeping in mind the suspension of both the two-wheelers, telescopic forks are available at the front. The KTM 390 Adventure has a twin rear shock absorber at the rear, while the Himalayan 452 has a mono shock unit at the rear.
