Classic two-wheeler manufacturer company Royal Enfield is working on several bikes to expand its lineup in India. Recently the company’s new bike Royal Enfield Hunter 450 was seen during testing on the Indian Roads.
As per the spotted pictures its design will be similar to roadster bike and it has been made comfortable for highway use.
No official information has been revealed yet regarding its launch, but there is a possibility that it may be launched by the end of this year.
Royal Enfield Hunter 450: Expected Features
Pictures of the Royal Enfield Hunter 450 show that it has the same headlamps, turn indicators and tail lamps as the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The two-wheeler will also have new alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
For suspension, there will be telescopic forks at the front and monoshock unit at the rear, while disc brakes will be available at both ends with dual-channel ABS. Furthermore, the handlebars are within reach of the rider and the footpegs are set in the middle for comfortable riding.
The upcoming Hunter 450 also gets a bash plate to protect the underbelly from speedbreakers. Apart from this, the bike will also have Tripper navigation system, circular digital instrument cluster with new switchgear.
The bike will have a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which will be capable of delivering a maximum power of around 40bhp.
Hunter 450 will be more affordable than the Himalayan 450 in the Indian market and the price is expected to be around Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
