According to the information, the total sales of passenger vehicles in India will exceed 40 lakh units in the year 2023. In the year 2022, the total number of passenger vehicles was 37.93 lakh units. In 2021, this figure was 30.82 lakh units.

Toyota has recorded a record in sales this year. The company has sold 1.92 lakh vehicles from January to October this year. Earlier in the year 2012, the maximum number of 1.72 lakh vehicles was sold.

Asked about Toyota’s plans to introduce electric vehicles in India, he said, β€œWe are constantly evaluating the Indian market situation. Our aim is to look at the real objective where we can reduce fuel usage and achieve rapid decarbonization.” β€œWe are bringing electric vehicles to India.
