Skoda recently unveiled the new Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition Concept during an event held in India. This model is presented as a concept only, with Skoda confirming that there are currently no intentions to proceed with its production.

Furthermore, the company has disclosed plans to introduce a fresh compact SUV tailored for the Indian market at the same event. Additionally, a teaser has been released, providing a sneak peek at its design.

Features of Skoda Kushaq Explorer

The Kushaq Explorer is presented in a Matte Green paint finish. It showcases black wheels with off-road tires, roof rails, LED light bars on the roof, and blacked-out badges.

Furthermore, it offers deep orange accents on components like the bumpers, grille, side cladding, and front skid plate. Although details about its interior remain undisclosed, it is anticipated to include features such as a 360-degree camera, head-up display, and rear sun blinds.

The Explorer Edition of the Skoda Kushaq is powered by a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder TSI petrol engine, producing 148bhp of power and 250Nm of torque.

It offers transmission options including a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG unit. With these gearbox choices, the current edition is capable of delivering around 18.60 km/l and 18.86 km/l mileage, respectively.

The latest car might hit the Indian market with an introductory price starting from 10 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
