At the Geneva Motor Show, Micro, a Swiss company, introduced the MicroLino Light EV, described as the smallest electric car on display. Its initial price is 17,999 euros (approximately 16 lakh rupees).

This vehicle has dimensions of 2,500mm in length, 1,470mm in width, and 1,500mm in height. In comparison, the Maruti Suzuki Alto is longer at 3,455mm.

Additionally, it is shorter than both the MG Comet EV, measuring 2,974mm, and the now-discontinued Tata Nano, which stood at 3,099mm. Despite its compact size, the Micro Lino Light EV has an appealing appearance.

MicroLino Light EV: Expected Features

The production version of the Micro Lino Light is drawing significant interest at the Geneva Motor Show. This compact EV is eligible for operation with a moped license.

This implies that in numerous European nations, individuals below the age of 14 can legally drive this vehicle. It’s a two-seater car with a roomy 230-liter trunk for storage and includes a sunroof. It can be conveniently parked in urban areas.

Its entry-level variant comes with a 5.5kWh battery, capable of providing a range of 100 kilometers on a single charge.

The other version is equipped with an 11kWh battery, which offers a range of 177 kilometers on a single charge. Using a 2.2kW Type 2 charger, they can be charged in approximately 2 hours and 4 hours, respectively.

The top speed of the Micro Lino Light is 45 kilometers per hour.
