Tata Nexon Dark Edition to Make a Debut in 14 Variants, New Details Leaked

Tata Motors is preparing to introduce the Tata Nexon Dark Edition as part of efforts to enhance sales. Recently exhibited at the India Mobility Expo 2024, details regarding the variants of the upcoming Tata Nexon Dark Edition have surfaced prior to its official launch.

The Dark Edition is set to be presented in a total of 14 variants, comprising 8 petrol and 6 diesel options, within the creative trim lineup.

Notably, this edition will not be offered in the Smart and Pure trim configurations.Β  The Nexon’s price ranges from β‚Ή8.15 lakhs to β‚Ή15.60 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon Dark Edition: Features

The Tata Nexon Dark Edition will showcase a complete black theme, featuring a shiny Atlas Black hue on the exterior. Furthermore, it will boast unique 5-spoke alloy wheels in Gun Metal Grey and matching grey roof rails.

Dark Edition badges adorn both the front fender and rear tailgate of the latest vehicle. Inside the cabin, expect to find a black roof liner, dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel.

Additionally, there will be sporty contrast stitching in either white or red.

The powertrain choices available in the Nexon Dark Edition will mirror those found in the current model. Among these will be a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine (producing 113bhp/260Nm) and a 1.5-liter diesel engine (with outputs of 113bhp/260Nm).

Transmission options will encompass a 6-speed manual, AMT gearbox, and a 7-speed DCT unit.

Anticipated to cost approximately Rs. 20,000-30,000 more than the standard model variants, the Dark Edition variants are expected to command a slight premium in pricing.
