Testing of Force Gurkha 5-Door Begins in India, Know its features

Force Motors is accelerating its testing of the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-Door, aiming to compete with Mahindra & Mahindra’s Thar 5-Door.

While the Mahindra Thar resembles the Jeep Wrangler, the Gurkha bears similarity to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Recently, the Force Gurkha was spotted undergoing testing in various conditions, from Ladakh to Pune, Maharashtra. Here, know about the feature of this upcoming off-roads SUV.

Force Gurkha 5-Door: Expected Features

The upcoming Gurkha could feature an FM CR 2.6-liter turbo diesel engine, delivering 92 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Along with a bench seat in the second row, it will have side-facing seats in the third row, allowing seating for 7 passengers.

According to sources, the company has started training dealership staff regarding the Gurkha 5-Door. It could be launched soon with a price around 16 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

The latest images of the new Force Gurkha 5-Door reveal the presence of 18-inch alloy wheels. Its elongated snorkel enhances its off-road appearance.

The overall design brings to mind the Mercedes G-Class or G-Wagon. In the updated images, the side step appears different from the previous test models.

The Force Gurkha 5-Door will come equipped with round headlights, LED daytime running lights, a lengthy snorkel, fender-mounted LED indicators, manual air conditioning, aftermarket entertainment system, and versatile seating configurations.
