Two-wheeler maker TVS Motor is working on a new ST variant of its electric scooter i-Cube. It can be launched soon. This will be the top variant of the scooter, which will be capable of giving a range of 145 kilometers in a full charge. It will feature fast-charging technology and a 5-inch digital display with two helmet under-seat storage. At the same time, all other features of the scooter will be similar to the standard i-cube.
Suzuki Burgman Electric: Expected price Rs 1.3 lakh
Suzuki India is all set to launch the electric version of the Burgman in the country soon. It can be brought down by the end of the year. It will come with a 4kWh battery as well as an electric motor of up to 4-6kw. According to the information, once it is fully charged, it will be able to cover a distance of 70-90 kilometers. This scooter will be able to run at a top speed of 80km/h.
Honda EM1: Expected price Rs 70,000
Recently, Honda unveiled its Honda EM1 electric scooter. The company will first launch this scooter in Europe. It can be launched in the Indian market next year. The Honda EM1 electric scooter will come with a swappable battery. It can be fully charged in 6 hours. It will be capable of running at a top speed of 45 kmph and will have a range of 45 kms in a full charge.
Honda Activa Electric: Expected price Rs 80,000.
Two-wheeler maker Honda is about to launch another scooter in the electric segment. This could be the electric variant of the Honda Activa scooter. If reports are to be believed then it will be launched in the Indian market in January 2024. It will compete with the already existing Bajaj Chetak electric scooter.
Fast charging technology can be added to this scooter and once full charge it will be able to cover a distance of up to 100 kilometers.
