Toyota To Launch 3 new vehicles in India this year

Japan’s leading car company Toyota is planning to introduce 3 new vehicles in its portfolio to increase its sales in the Indian market.

The company is about to launch Vellfire MPV, Rumion and Taser SUV in the country this year.

Let us tell you that the company launched its Toyota Innova Highcross SUV in the Indian market a few months ago, which is selling tremendously.

Now the company is working on some new vehicles.

Toyota is gearing up to launch a new 7-seater SUV, the Toyota Rumian, based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The company can introduce it by the end of the year. The upcoming 7-seater vehicle in the country will be able to compete with the Mahindra XUV700.

It could get a 2.0-litre three-cylinder, single-scroll, turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 304hp of max power and 370Nm of peak torque.

This vehicle will be launched around Rs 12 lakh.

Toyota Taisor

Toyota is currently working on a new coupe car. This will be the Taiser SUV based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV.Β  The company will launch this vehicle in August. Recently it has been spotted during testing on Indian roads.

The Taser is powered by a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine, which generates 89hp power and 113Nm peak torque.
This vehicle can be launched around Rs 6 lakh.

Toyota Vellfire MPVΒ

Toyota may launch the new Vellfire MPV in the Indian market by the end of the year. Booking of this vehicle has started in the country.

It gets a new W-shaped bumper with muscular bonnet, 6 horizontal chrome slats, silver trim. The new Vellfire gets a choice of 2 engines – a turbocharged 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder petrol and a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol-hybrid.
In India, this vehicle can be launched around the price of Rs 95 lakh.
