Build Your Dreams (BYD) is set to launch its third electric car, the BYD Seal sedan, in the Indian market on March 5. Prior to this, technical specifications of this car have been leaked. The India-spec model of the BYD Seal will come with a range of 570 kilometers.

Company has starts accepting booking for this electric car. Intrested buyers can buy this electric SUV by paying 1 lakh.

The BYD Seal will be presented in a variant equipped with an 82.5kWh battery pack, which will be paired with a rear-mounted motor. It is capable of delivering 230bhp of power and 360Nm of torque.

This electric sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.9 seconds and will take 37 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. It will be brought to India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route and could be priced around 50 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line to Offer Manual Transmission in Both Variants

Hyundai is also planning to launch its Hyundai Creta N-line on March 11.It is expected that the cabin of the Creta N-Line will feature an all-black finish instead of the regular Creta’s dual-tone grey-black finish. Additionally, the latest car is likely to include N-Line specific steering wheel and gear lever, metal pedals, and red accents.

Apart from these, it will come with the same 1.5-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the current model, which will be paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox. Its price is expected to be around 21 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon Dark edition will also make its way to India in mid-March 2024. This SUV will be based on the current model available for the sale in India. In addition, it will be available in Dark Black paint-scheme.Β  Its price will be 30,000 rupees more than Nexon’s current starting price of Rs 8.15 lakh.

The Dark Edition is set to be presented in a total of 14 variants, comprising 8 petrol and 6 diesel options, within the creative trim lineup. Notably, this edition will not be offered in the Smart and Pure trim configurations.

The powertrain choices available in the Nexon Dark Edition will mirror those found in the current model. Among these will be a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine (producing 113bhp/260Nm) and a 1.5-liter diesel engine (with outputs of 113bhp/260Nm). Transmission options will encompass a 6-speed manual, AMT gearbox, and a 7-speed DCT unit.

Maruti will also launch its 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid in March 2024.

As per the new information Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid will be launch in 13 colors options including 9 single-tone color option. Customers can get the option of Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic, Cool Yellow Metallic, Burning Red Pearl Metallic, Flame Orange Pearl Metallic, Caravan Ivory Pearl Metallic, Pure White Pearl, Premium Silver Metallic, Star Silver Metallic and Super Black Pearl color.

This car will also come with 4 dual color option including black roof. Expected price of this car is Rs 9 lakh.

Swift Hybrid will be equipped with Z12E 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder hybrid petrol engine, paired with a 48-volt electric motor. This setup generates power of 82 hp and torque of 108 Nm. For transmission, it will be linked to a CVT gearbox, which is capable of giving a mileage of 35-40 km/litre.

Maruti Suzuki may launch updated models of its Dzire in March. The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire coming to India will be similar to the model introduced in Japan.

It will feature a new grille, LED headlamps, black-out alloy wheels, a new dashboard layout, and new HVAC controls. It will be equipped with Z12E 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder hybrid petrol engine, paired with a 48-volt electric motor.

The initial price of the facelifted Dzire is expected to start at 7 lakh rupees (prices, ex-showroom).
