VinFast, the electric car manufacturer from Vietnam, has secured a patent for its Supermini electric VinFast VF3 Electric SUV in India, hinting at a potential launch in the country in the near future.
The VF3 made its debut at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, showcasing its elongated and boxy appearance along with impressive ground clearance.

The price of the electric car will be determined at the time of launch, but it is estimated to be around 40 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
VinFast VF3 Electric SUV: Features
The VF3 will be offered in two variants, Eco and Plus, both equipped with a single motor configuration. It will come with a battery offering an estimated range of around 201 kilometers on a single charge.
Its dimensions are expected to be 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width, and 1,620mm in height, providing a boot space of 550 liters.
Additionally, it will include features like automatic climate control, a two-spoke steering wheel, cruise control, and dual airbags.

The design of the VinFast VF3 is evident from the patent images, showcasing a rectangular closed grille encircled by LED headlamps and square ORVMs.
It also features a wide black bumper extending to the wheel arches. At the rear, LED taillamps and a chrome-finished company logo are noticeable.
Inside the latest vehicle, you’ll find an advanced 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, and foldable second-row seats.
