Mahindra & Mahindra has secured the trademark for Scorpio-X, likely earmarked for an upcoming production model inspired by the global pickup concept, slated for a 2025 debut.
Rooted in the Scorpio-N, the pickup truck concept was unveiled on August 15 last year, with the forthcoming Scorpio-X built upon a new-generation ladder frame platform and designed at the Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS).
The Scorpio-X is poised to embody Mahindra's values of robustness, versatility, and performance, integrating new design elements and advanced features to meet evolving consumer preferences and market demands.
The Scorpio-X's design cues, akin to the Scorpio-N, highlight a robust SUV-inspired front profile, featuring a revamped grille, LED headlights, and a rugged bumper.
Its side profile showcases functional additions like a snorkel, new alloy wheels, and lift-up suspension, coupled with practical elements such as roof rails and LED light bars.
Powertrain options akin to the Scorpio-N are anticipated for the Scorpio-X, possibly incorporating an Explore Four-Wheel-Drive system for enhanced versatility.
Packed with advanced safety and connectivity features, the Scorpio-X is positioned for a competitive edge, with an estimated price of around 20 lakh rupees (ex-showroom)
