These cheap electric vehicles will be launched next year, along with other options

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors is preparing to launch its fourth electric car Punch EV in India soon with an expected price of Rs 9 lakh. The Tata Punch EV will get the same LED headlight setup as the Nexon EV facelift and connected DRLs at the front. It will have a larger battery than the 24kWh of Tiago and Tigor EV, which will be capable of giving a range of up to 350 kilometers.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Maruti Suzuki is also going to launch its first electric car Maruti Suzuki eVX in the year 2024 with an expected price Rs 15 lakh. At its rear, a roof-mounted spoiler and connected-style LED taillights will be available. This electric car will draw power from a dual-motor setup, which may be paired with a large 60kWh battery pack. This EV will be able to cover a distance of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge.

Tata Altroz EV

Tata Motors may expand its electric portfolio in the country by launching its Tata Altroz ​​hatchback in electric variants by next year. The estimated price of the car is Rs 8 lakh. It can be launched in the option of two battery packs 19.2kWH and 24kWH. These will be combined with magnet electric motor and this setup will generate power of 73.75hp and torque of 170Nm.

Mahindra XUV300 EV

Mahindra is also planning to launch its XUV300 in electric variant. The expected price of the vehicle is Rs 10 lakh. The company can launch this electric car in June next year. The company is bringing XUV300 EV to increase its dominance in the EV SUV segment. Information about its powertrain has not been revealed yet.

Tata Curve EV

With an Estimated price of Rs 15 lakh, Tata Motors may launch its Curve electric car in March 2024. It has a sloping roof and connected LED tail lamps. This car looks quite premium. Ombre effect fabric has been used in the cabin of the car. It also has ADAS technology. Nexon's updated electric motor and battery pack can be used in it, due to which it will give a range of about 500 kilometers.
