What do we expect from Honda Elevate Electric SUV, launching soon?

To enter into the electric vehicle segment, Honda Cars India may soon launch its Honda Elevate Electric SUV electric car.
The company is working on this vehicle and it can be launched in the country in 2025 and soon Honda can start testing of this electric SUV.
According to the information, it will be built on the existing Elevate Platform. In full charge, this vehicle will be able to cover a distance of about 400 kilometers.

Honda Elevate Electric SUV: Looks

We expect that the look of all electric Elevate will be similar to the current model which will be launch soon. As per the information the company can also do some cosmetic update.
It can get square headlamps with hexagonal blacked-out closed grille and daytime running lights (DRLs). The Elevate electric SUV will also get wraparound taillamps, wider tailgate and sportier bumper with black cladding.
It will also get indicator-mounted ORVMs on the sides, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a roof-mounted antenna.

Honda Elevate Electric SUV can get 2 powertrain option

Honda will launch its Elevate Electric with β€˜e’ badging. The company can use a 35.5kWh battery pack in it, which is capable of giving a range of 222 km.
The company can also use a powerful battery pack in its electric elevate, which will be able to generate power of 134bhp.
This setup will be capable of covering a distance of about 400 kms. It is expected that the company can also add fast charging technology to it.

Rivals and Price

The Honda Elevate Electric will be a B-segment vehicle. It will compete with the Tata Nexon EV Max which is already on sale in the country, nexon EV gives range of 453 km.
Apart from this, the Elevate Electric will compete with the Mahindra XUV 400 and the MG ZS EV.

Mahindra is about to launch its BE.05, Tata Motors its Curve and Hyundai its Creta Electric to increase its sales in this segment. These vehicles will also compete with the Elevate Electric.

The expected price of this electric SUV is 25 lakhs
