South Korean car company Hyundai has launched its Hyundai Exter micro SUV in the Indian market this month. This car will be available in 5 trims- EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect.
The car has a sporty looks and comes with many latest features, 5-seater cabin, 1.2-liter engine with petrol and CNG options.

Base EX Trim of Hyundai Exter

The base EX model of the Hyundai Exter gets body-coloured bumpers, silver skid plates, H-shaped headlights, square LED taillamps and stylish steal wheels.
On the inside, this SUV gets features like a 5-seater cabin, front powered windows, manual AC controls, digital instrument cluster, 6 airbags, ABS and parking sensors. This trim does not have parking cameras.
The EX trim has a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has been launched at Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom.

S trim gets 8-inch infotainment system

The mid S trim of the Hyundai Exter offers all the features of the EX model. It also gets LED DRLs, indicator-mounted side ORVMs, black radiator grille, 14-inch wheels with covers and a roof-mounted antenna.
On the inside it gets black AC vents, rear power windows, Type-C charger, front and rear speakers and 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It has been launched in 1.2-liter petrol and CNG engine options. The S trim costs Rs 7.27 lakh, ex-showroom.

Electric sunroof is available in SX trim of Hyundai Exter

All the features of EX and S models are available in the mid specs trim SX trim of Hyundai Exter. Along with this, the mid-spec SX trim gets projector headlights, black roof rails, black out in C-pillar garnish and rear spoiler.
It also gets a shark-fin antenna and 15-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of this model gets leather upholstery, map lamps, electric sunroof, cruise control, touchscreen infotainment panel and 6 airbags. This trim has been launched at starting price of Rs 8 lakh ex-showroom.

SX(O) trim gets smart key and wireless charger

The SX(O) trim of the Hyundai Exter gets a black radiator grille, roof rails, silver skid plates, an all-LED lighting setup, a shark-fin antenna and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
It has a 5-seater cabin with features like footwell lighting, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a smart key, cooling glove box and a wireless phone charger.
All its safety features are similar to the EX model. The SX(O) model can be bought for Rs 8.64 lakh ex-showroom.

Features offered in the top SX(O) Connect trim of Hyundai Exter

Except for the front and rear mudguards, the SX(O) Connect model has all the same features which were available in SX(O) model.
It gets Alexa voice support, Type-C charging ports, 2.31-inch display and a dashcam with twin cameras and a rear-view IRVM with telematic switches and an infotainment panel.
This variant has a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual/AMT gearbox. The company has launched the top SX(O) Connect model at Rs 9.32 lakh ex-showroom.
