Hyundai has already showcasedΒ its 2023 Hyundai Kona EV in India Market. As per the reports it will be launched soon. The previous variant of this car was the first electric car of South Korean automobile company in India Market. After that company has introduced its Ioniq-5 electric in the country.

2023 HYUNDAI KONA EV: Looks
The biggest change in the Hyundai Kona EV will be its exterior design. It includes new headlights and front grille.
It also get a sloping roofline, muscular bonnet, a blacked-out grille, redesigned bumpers and a Sonic Blue paintwork.
To provide a strong look, the car gets roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs and 19-inch forged alloy wheels with P-Zero performance tires.
ADAS tech is also available in KONA EV
Company has also revealed the equipment list of this EV. It includes keyless entry, a heads-up display, over-the-air updates, connected car tech,Β an 8-speaker Bose sound system and a powered tailgate.
It also have a suite of ADAS functions, which includes lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, intelligent speed limit assist, driver attention warning, high beam assist, forward collision-avoidance assist.
The EV will be available in two electric powertrain
The 2023 Hyundai Kona EV will will come in two powertrain options which are standard range and long range.
The standard range variant is equipped with a powerful 48.4kWh battery and a single electric motor that produces 153hp power and 250Nm of peak torque. The long range gets a larger 65.4kWh battery that join with an electric motor and produced 215hp power and 255Nm of peak torque.
Both powertrains are more powerful than the previous generation KONA, which was equipped with the 39.9kWh battery.
Talking about the range the company still hasnβt quoted a claimed driving range of theΒ standard Kona but the long-range variant will give 490km range in single charge. The new Kona electric is also capable of one-pedal driving with its regenerative braking system.
Cabin Features of this EV
This electric car will have a 5-seater cabin with premium seats. The car will also get a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple carplay and Android Auto and a digital instrument console.
For the safety of the passengers, many airbags, parking cameras and sensors have been given in the car. At the same time, as new features, voice command technology and ambient lighting is also available in this car.
Expected price of 2023 Hyundai Kona EV
Information about the price and availability of this car in the Indian market will be given only at the time of its launch. However, it is estimated that it can be launched around 25 lakhs.
